Or do you take a fresh faced talent like Justin Bieber and employ equally well renowned producers such as Tricky Stewart (Beyonce - Single Ladies) and The Dream/Terius Nash (Umbrella - Rihanna) combined with a feature from one of the most well known rappers in the industry...to create the masterpiece in Pop music (717 million youtube views doesn't lie);
Don't think this is just a random rant about the Pop industry, because it brings me onto something that has been circulating the blogs recently. British Roc Nation signee Rita Ora has just released a track that features another British artist looking to break the U.S scene produced by British Bass duo Chase and Status. But the song has already been made famous by Drake with the production of Hit makers Stargate. I know that's quite a mouthful but you read it correctly; that's a culmination of a track by multi award winning artists Drake and Stargate, remade by 'The Next Rihanna'. The record in itself shows that there are still trends in music today, a common way to gain popular attention is to recreate an already familiar tune - and adding a production from Chase and Status is a great way to play on the current trends in America (Skrillex & Knife Party). A massive introduction to just one track I know, so I'll stop and let you catch it below!
