Mayhem Lauren X Action Bronson (Prod By....Harry Fraud)

In March, while everyone else in Austin for SXSW got dehydrated while standing in parking lots, listening to the sound of a lot of bands playing in close proximity to one another, Meyhem Lauren, Himanshu Suri, Action Bronson, Riff Raff, AG the Coroner and producers Tommy Mas and Harry Fraud holed up in a hotel room and made an album, Lauren’s Respect the Fly Shit, to be released by LRG/Greedhead this month. Over crunchy snares and a chorus of dark angels, Bronson raps about twisting weed into takeout origami swans on “Special Effects,” a lurching track from that project. Like Riff Raff, Smoke DZA, Curren$y, French Montana and seemingly everyone else, Himanshu is working on more tracks with Fraud, who’s productive pretty much wherever.
